ff about gel

there i was, tired and hot today, when i decided it was time to have some gel. i got a sizable gulp, and as i was swallowing it, i breathed funny (like i had been riding a bike hard for a few hours) and i felt a weird sensation in my nose. shortly thereafter, i had a runny nose. it wasn't runny with snot, oh no, it was the gel making an escape. kind of a lot of gel actually, out of both nostrils. i dabbed my tongue up there to check, and sure enough, banana taste. of course it was all messed up in my facial hair, where it remained for quite some time. after i washed up at the finish, as we were driving back, i happened to squeeze my nose and my nostrils stuck together. yep, i missed a spot while cleaning... like the entire inside of my nose. kleenex in the car? of course not. but i'm glad to say that my schnoz is now clean. be warned about escaping gel.
