the last stage of the TT stage race was another wind-fest. i think it took about 4 minutes to go out, and about 8 minutes to come back the same distance. my legs felt mighty fine again, but still 16 seconds slower than that real fast feldman guy. either way, we all rode well and finished with the podium spots... which wasn't hard since there were 7 of us and 2 others... a little out numbered! full results.
and now it's time for the first huge race of the year at mt hood. i'm driving over to portland today to hang out with candace for a couple days before racing starts... so if you have any suggestions of what to do in portland, let me know! then we race tuesday and wednesday in portland, and thursday-sunday in hood river. long week ahead!!! 150 pro and cat 1 racers are going to be suffering the whole week. see ya out there-

- Justin Rose
- I'm from Pocatello, Idaho where I graduated from Century HS in '02. I then headed to the University of Denver and picked up a B.S. in Molecular Biology. In my last year in Denver, I started collegiate cycling racing, and it was awesome. From there, I just got more and more into the sport. Now I'm racing my 2nd season with Team Bobs-Bicycles.com as a cat 1. I just started med school at Rocky Vista University. I've been waiting to do this since I started undergrad. Sounds like it'll be a tough haul, but it couldn't be any harder than an NRC stage race, right? Speaking of bikes, I'll ride still. Something needs to keep me sane.
